When you practice yoga you are aware of what you are doing in this moment i.e. doing yoga poses with proper alignment & breathing. 

Mindfulness can be practiced while having a meal which is known as mindful eating. In this practice a person is fully aware of food and its flavour, taste & texture. In same one can practice mindful communication while talking to other where you listen first, understanding their point & responding to it with carefully choosen words. 

You can include mindfulness in every activity or work you do in your everyday routine where you are completely absorbed in a moment. Also you can plan your way to practice it.
